Terms of Use
Last updated: 12 September 2026
These terms describe the permitted use of the staff guide at azrp.website, operated for the Arizona State Roleplay community ("we", "us", or "our"). They apply to staff use of the guide alongside our server rules and relevant platform rules.
Staff members must not share this guide with people who are not current Arizona State Roleplay staff. Unauthorised sharing will result in a staff blacklist and may also result in a server ban.
1. Who may use the guide
The operational guide is intended for current, authorised staff carrying out community duties. Being able to open a URL does not grant permission to redistribute its contents. Staff must read these terms before using the guide for their duties. If you do not agree, stop using the operational guide and contact leadership. You must meet the age and eligibility requirements of the platforms you use and obtain any parental or guardian permission required by applicable law.
2. Sharing and confidentiality
Do not send the guide link, screenshots, recordings, copied text, downloads, or other reproductions to non-staff members. Do not publish it on social media, other servers, public repositories, or external tools accessible to non-staff. Former staff must stop using the operational guide and remove retained copies, except where retention is legally required.
This restriction does not prevent using the provided player-facing greeting and instructions during authorised moderation. The Terms of Use and Privacy Policy are public notices and may be shared. Nothing in these terms prevents lawful reporting to authorities, obtaining confidential legal advice, or disclosures protected or required by law.
3. Responsible use
Use the guide and staff tools only for legitimate community duties. Do not impersonate staff, misrepresent your rank, bypass access restrictions, disrupt the website, distribute malicious software, harass others, or expose personal information. Follow Roblox, Discord, ER:LC, and other applicable platform rules. Report suspected leaks, security issues, and policy errors privately to leadership.
4. Staff authority and reference tools
Optional AI training is for eligible adults practising fictional situations. Do not submit real case information or use AI scores as evidence for promotion, discipline, or access decisions. AI recommendations may be wrong and never override the handbook or authorised human review. Do not attempt to bypass usage limits or the provider's eligibility and safety requirements.
Access to this guide does not grant a rank or permission to issue punishments. Search results, callsign previews, checklists, and copied commands are reference aids. Check your authority, evidence, and the current policy before acting. A checked box does not submit a report or prove that a duty was completed. Ask a higher rank if instructions conflict or a situation is unclear.
5. Content and ownership
Our original guide material may be used by authorised staff for their duties, subject to these terms. That permission ends when staff authorisation ends. Third-party names, trademarks, artwork, and other materials remain the property of their respective owners. No ownership rights are transferred by access to this site, and statutory exceptions remain available.
6. Enforcement and review
Leadership may investigate suspected violations and restrict staff privileges while reviewing the facts. Confirmed unauthorised sharing results in a staff blacklist, with a possible server ban depending on the circumstances. Other breaches may result in warnings, removal from staff, access restrictions, or bans. Use the community's applicable review process to report a factual error or mistaken identity. These community decisions do not remove any legal rights or right to contact a regulator.
7. Availability and responsibility
We aim to keep the guide accurate and available, but errors, updates, or outages may occur. To the extent permitted by law, the guide is provided as available without a guarantee of uninterrupted access or suitability for every situation. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections. Staff remain responsible for using their authority appropriately.
8. Third parties and privacy
Arizona State Roleplay is an independent roleplay community and is not presented as an official Roblox, Discord, or ER:LC service. Third-party services have their own terms and privacy practices. Read our Privacy Policy for information about this website's handling of data. Reading these terms does not provide blanket consent for unrelated data use.
9. Changes, questions, and applicable rights
We may revise these terms as the guide or community changes and will update the date on this page. Material changes should be communicated through the community's staff announcements. Changes do not retrospectively remove rights you already have. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted by law.
For questions or concerns, contact Arizona State Roleplay leadership through the community Discord's support or ticket process. Do not post confidential material in public channels. These terms do not override applicable law or restrict access to courts or regulators where you have that right.
